Citroën Oldtimer Club Polska will once again join the upcoming Retro Motor Show. At their stand, you’ll see the DS – celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.

Citroën DS – the “Goddess” of motoring
Unveiled in Paris in 1955, the Citroën DS revolutionized the automotive world. On the very first day, 12,000 orders were placed. The French called it Déesse (“Goddess”), highlighting its unique character.
The car stood out with its futuristic body design by Flaminio Bertoni and groundbreaking technology: front disc brakes, a hydraulically assisted steering system, and a semi-automatic clutch. Its most famous feature was the hydropneumatic suspension with automatic ride-height adjustment, ensuring unmatched comfort. The DS was also the first mass-produced car to feature front disc brakes.
The model quickly became an icon of luxury and avant-garde. It twice won the Monte Carlo Rally, and in 2009 it was named the “Most Beautiful Car of All Time.” To this day, DS Automobiles pays tribute to this legend by incorporating modern interpretations of its innovative suspension.
The Citroën DS remains a symbol of French style, comfort, and bold design.
